One of the biggest mistakes Bangladeshi students make is translating directly from Bangla to English. The result is literal English – which is technically correct, but sounds unnatural. (বাংলা থেকে সরাসরি ইংরেজিতে অনুবাদ করা সবচেয়ে বড় ভুল। ফলাফল হলো আক্ষরিক ইংরেজি – যা technically সঠিক কিন্তু অপ্রাকৃতিক শোনায়।)
Don't translate word-for-word. Learn chunks of language – phrases that native speakers actually use.

Knowing when to use formal or informal English is crucial – especially for job interviews, emails, and professional communication. (কখন formal বা informal ইংরেজি ব্যবহার করতে হয় তা জানা অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।)
In BCS interviews and IELTS Writing Task 1, formal English is required. In IELTS Speaking, a mix of neutral and informal is acceptable.
🇧🇩 7. Bangla Learner's Corner
Bangla and English have different sentence structures. Bangla uses Subject-Object-Verb (SOV), while English uses Subject-Verb-Object (SVO). This difference causes many Bangladeshi students to translate directly, resulting in unnatural English.
(বাংলা ও ইংরেজির বাক্য গঠন ভিন্ন। বাংলায় SOV আর ইংরেজিতে SVO – এই পার্থক্যের কারণে সরাসরি অনুবাদ করলে অপ্রাকৃতিক ইংরেজি হয়।)

Example: I (S) eat (V) rice (O). Not "I rice eat."
(বাংলা: "আমি ভাত খাই" → ইংরেজি: "I eat rice".)

✅ "I know him." (Correct – 'know' is a stative verb, not continuous.)
